Oversees/International Sales Executive

The Oversees/International Sales Executive (OISE) will be responsible for delivering a profitable growth across the region, specifically through direct trading relationships with key retail partners. With a revenue stream across Europe already in place, the OISE will look to identify & develop further customers to drive the distribution into the core markets of Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria & North, South and Eastern Europe.
This is an international role based from the UK with travel being required extensively abroad, so with this in mind, you must have the ability to travel without any passport/visa restrictions.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of success within a similar role. Experience of managing & developing business throughout Europe is essential and you will have a network of contacts within the key retail customers across the core Euro markets. Knowledge of the Floorcare/ Home Appliances market would be a distinct advantage.
As important as experience and knowledge, the successful candidate will come with a broad skill set including:
- The ability to operate autonomously & independently
- An entrepreneurial & creative approach to business development
- A high-level of cultural awareness, enabling effective communication across a wide demographic
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. A second European language is a preference
- First-class presentation & negotiation skills
- Passion & enthusiasm for driving new business and exceeding targets objectives
- Ability to create a business strategy for the international growth of Gtech’s business
About Gtech
Gtech are a leading distributor and manufacturer of Cordless Electronic sweepers in the UK, and manufacture a range of cordless products for the private and commercial sectors.
The business was created in 2000 by Nick Grey, where the business has grown through its distribution of products, in the UK and with partners across the world.
Gtech’s mission is to provide the best loved Floorcare products in the world.
The UK business is now well establishes, having gained distribution through key retailers such as Argos, John Lewis, Curry’s, Comet, Debenhams, QVC, Robert Dyas, Lakeland and most high street outlets.
The opportunity has now arisen for an International Sales Executive to take Gtech’s business primarily to Europe and then beyond.
What’s on Offer
Basic salary plus commission: OTE £50,000 + car + laptop + phone + health scheme & usual benefits package.
