- My grass trimmer is not working

If your grass trimmer is not working, please run through the following procedures:
- Ensure that the charger is fully inserted into the mains socket and that the mains socket is switched on
- Check the battery is fully charged, please charge for 3 hours and try the trimmer again
- Check the charger is working correctly. After a sustained period of charging it should be warm to the touch
- Check that the safety switch in the handle is operating correctly. If you hear a 'click' when pressed then the handle should be working correctly
If after these checks your hedge trimmer is still not working, please call our customer service team on 01905 345891 and they will be happy to talk you through your problem

Your grass trimmer should run for up to 30 minutes from a full charge. If your grass trimmer is providing a shorter cutting time than this, please run through the following checks:
- Ensure that the battery is being fully charged before you are commencing cutting your hedge
- Ensure that the base of the trimmer and the blade are both attached securely to the main unit
- Check that the blade is not damaged or worn in any way
- Ensure that you are not overloading the motor. Your grass trimmer has been designed to cut through long and thick grass, however please consider that this heavy workload will result in a shorter run time, patiicularly if the grass is wet
If your hedge trimmer still delivers a shorter run time, please contact our customer service team on 01905 345891 and they will be happy to help you with your problem.
- What about storing the battery?

To prolong your battery life and run time, please follow the following tips when storing your battery
- Before using the product for the first time, fullly charge the battery for 12 hours, this will prolong the battery life
- Never leave your battery stored uncharged for long periods of time, as this will damage the battery memory
- Always store the battery in a cool dry place, and NEVER in direct sunlight
- How should i dispose of my grass trimmer?

At the end of its life, please do not dispose of your grass trimmer with the general household waste. Please consider the environment and take it to a recognised recycling facility. For more information about recycling schemes in your area, contact your local council, civic amenity site, recycling centre or visit www.recycle-more.co.uk for information on recycling and where to find your nearest recycling facility
