- My lawn mower is not working
-
If your lawn mower is not working, please run through the following procedures:
- Ensure the blade is not jammed
- Check that your isolator key is correctly inserted into the mower
- Ensure the reset switch (small red button on top of CM01) has not cut in. If this has happened, press the switch to reset and continue using. If this continues to happen, please contact our customer service team on 01905 345891.
- Make sure your lawn mower is fully charged. If the charger is working correctly it should be warm to the touch, if this is not the case your charger may be faulty, and you may require a new one.
If your lawn mower is not cutting correctly, please run through the following procedures: (IMPORTANT: ensure isolator key is removed before examining mower to reduce the risk of injury)
- Ensure blade is properly lubricated
- Ensure the blade is aligned correctly. To do this tighten the two nuts that can be found on the blade shield so that the cutting cylinder just touches the blade. To check allignment, slide a piece of paper inbetween cuttiing cylinder and blade. When turned by hand the paper should be cut cleanly. If this does not happen, slowly tighten nuts until paper is cut.
If your problem is not solved by any of the above points, please call our customer service team on 01905 345891 and they will be happy to help you with your problem
- My lawn mowers run time is short
-
Your CM01 lawn mower should run for up to 40 minutes from a full charge. If your lawn mower is providing a shorter cutting time please run through the following checks:
- Ensure that the battery is being fully charged before you are commencing cutting your lawn
- Ensure that the blades are well lubricated before cutting
- Make sure you cut your grass regularly and in dry weather, as cutting long, wet grass can significantly increase the load on the motor and hence reduce run time
- Make sure your battery is fully charged to optimise run time
If you have gone through these checks and the run time is still short, please contact our customer service team on 01905 345891 and they will help you with your problem
- How should i dispose of my mower?
-
At the end of its life, please do not dispose of your lawn mower with the general household waste. Please consider the environment and take it to a recognised recycling facility. For more information about recycling schemes in your area, contact your local council, civic amenity site, recycling centre or visit www.recycle-more.co.uk for information on recycling and where to find your nearest recycling facility.
- What about storing the battery?
-
