Traditional vacuum cleaners harvest the dirt either into a bag (expensive) or into a cylinder (mess to empty). AirRam technology compresses the dirt into tidy bales which you just drop into the bin.

Here’s how it works:

• Power comes from a professional-grade Li-ion battery. There is no messy dust cloud and no need to keep buying expensive bags
• The motor powers the brush bar and suction fan that work together to lift dirt - AirRam works well on hard floors and carpets

"The Gtech AirRam is fantastic, light and easy to use. I have two other vacuum cleaners of the corded variety but they are now left in the cupboard. The gtech is so light, it's a pleasure to use and I use it a lot more that I would have ordinarily used my conventional hoover. I use it instead of my broom on my wooden floors. No messy bags its quick and easy to empty. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I absolutely love it. So much so that I have recommended it to a friend who after using mine bought one for herself. The freedom of being cordless brings a new meaning to hoovering my house, I can go anywhere with it. It makes me smile when I use it ! Great. There are cheaper varieties available but I follow the maxim buy cheap buy twice,. I absolutely love it. My husband has also been seen using it - its that simple. Brilliant."

Where does the dirt go?

The dirt is collected and compressed into small bales which you just drop into the bin. This
compression technology gives the AirRam enhanced dirt storage capacity.

Will it run out while I'm cleaning?

No, the AirRam has an LED fuel gauge so you always know how much charge is in the battery and will clean two average sized UK houses on a single charge.

What about cleaning the edges of the room?

Unlike conventional vacuums, the AirRam has a central drive system, allowing the brush bar to have bristles right up to the edge of the product.

Is the AirRam suitable for pet hair?

AirRam technology is ideally suited for troublesome pet hair. Many vacuums rely on high suction power to remove pet hair; this deals adequately with surface hair, but is often inadequate for removal of hair embedded into the carpet. The AirRam has powerful rotating brush bars to lift embedded hair from the carpet and then compress it into bales.

Does the AirRam work on all surfaces?

The AirRam’s performance is impressive on both hard-floors and carpets.

How heavy is the AirRam?

The AirRam weighs just 3.5 Kilos (7.7lbs). Due to the revolutionary design, the AirRam delivers mains vacuum cleaning performance, whilst weighing only a fraction of many leading mains vacuums..

Do I need the data-bridge cable and software to use the AirRam?

No. This is simply a free optional extra. If you download the software to your PC, you will be able to calculate the amount of electricity you save, check the condition of the fuel system and even see how many calories you have burnt whilst cleaning.
